Same People that Pushed U.S. to War with Iraq, Keep Opposing the Iran Deal

As if one strategic mistake was not enough, these same fools that pushed U.S. to invade Iraq, are the same ones that oppose the deal with Iran? Strange?

These same people emboldened Iran. Destroyed Iran’s archenemy – Saddam. That leveraged U.S. resources to kill off Saddam Hussein. That in effect had U.S. do their bidding for them. Now, they are against the deal with Iran.

Why? Because, what they really wanted was the U.S. to go to war with Iran on their behalf. Because they wanted American taxpayers to suffer again, and pay the bill (with both blood and treasure) for their security and prosperity rather than Americas?

It is Israel (Netanyahu), Saudi Arabia (King Salman), Gulf States (like Qatar, Kuwait …)! It is the Republicans, its John Bolton … The same cast of characters. The usual suspects. Don’t forget it was Netanyahu that pushed Congress hard to invade Iraq … the footage is there on Youtube. It was all these Jewish Republican neo-cons, Wolfowitz, etc. that pushed hard for U.S. to invade Iraq. Look where that got us …?

President Obama has been right NOT to take the bait. A reformed Iran is probably the best Ally U.S. can have in the region. Iran has a young and highly educated population that is strongly pro-western. Iran is a regional hub with tremendous natural resources. Iran controls Central Asian corridors critical to U.S. strategic interests Vis a Vis Russia and China. Iran is the future. Sadly, Netanyahu, and the dictators in Saudi Arabia and on the southern edge of the Persian Gulf represent the past.

It is the warmongers versus the visionaries. It is the arms industry versus the war torn people at the heart of the Middle East. Its dictators versus reformers and democrats. Its idiots versus reasoned heads.

Listen very carefully to the rhetoric. Listen to Rush Limbaugh. Watch fox news. It is the same cast of characters finding fault with the agreement that pushed for the Iraq invasion, that sold us WMD lies, instead of seeing vast opportunities ahead for America in close connectivity with Iran.

Iran will very shortly place orders for over 100 jet liners, estimated at close to 40 Billion. Will it be Airbus or Boeing? Iran will very shortly enter international trade – banking, oil, commodities, stocks, etc. Iran’s GDP has been depressed by almost an order of magnitude. Iran could easily be a $3 Trillion dollar economy versus $300 Billion today. Iran is the engine that can take the rest of the world out of economic rot – yes, I am talking about Europe, Greece, etc.

Iran is the ONLY entity that can actually stabilize Iraq, Afghanistan etc. after years of devastation. These talking heads talk about Iran destabilizing the region, but what they really want is more war and instability. Look at what Saudi Arabia and Israel are giving us: ISIS, Yemen bombings, Civil War in Syria – all funded and supported by them.

It is Iran that has built more clinics and roads in Iraq and Afghanistan than any one else, and at a fraction of the cost of any comparable project executed by the Allies. Iran – yes the bastardly IRI – has actually delivered. It is the unfortunate truth.  I am no fan of the regime in Tehran, but you have to call a spade a spade.  The IRI has delivered, is delivering. They are ‘performing’.

Iran is the ONLY country in the region with some measure of political stability, with a bustling industrial base that has actually performed – against all the odds. Love it or hate it, but when you can build dozens of clinics in rural Afghanistan, train the staff, and actually function against “western imposed sanctions’ i.e. run up hill, then imagine the possibilities if there were no sanctions.

And, to wrap this up, I think Iran has nowhere to go politically but to eventually moderate. It’s inevitable, and the crowd that pushed for the deal know that.

The time for war is gone. “W” should have invaded Iran instead of Iraq. It is these Iraq warmongers that made a massive strategic mistake; and they are the ones that are pushing against the Iran deal. It is patently wrong. Why is anyone taking them seriously?
